The Jazz Dogs Collection was born when the artist adopted two boxers from a rescue. She immediately noticed the clean lines of this shorthaired breed. The interplay of forms as the dogs moved through her vision is what sparked this series of paintings. As a jazz lover, she made a connection - these paintings focus on shape as opposed to image in the same way that jazz focuses on sound instead of lyrics.
Buster Head
Buster is very attuned to feelings. He is the worrier and always looks as if he's about to ask if the mortgage has been paid this month.
