Your creative meeting will allow you to discuss your portrait's size, setting, time and place. All of these contribute to the specific ambiance you want to create. During relaxed moments, the artist will take a few reference photographs. After your initial consultation, the artist will create a cost estimate, using the information provided. This will be e-mailed to you with a selection of the reference photographs the artist has chosen to work from. On your approval and receipt of your one-third deposit, your portrait officially begins.

Day at the Beach

Your creative meeting will allow you to discuss all of your portrait choices via telephone. The artist will then create and mail a detailed cost estimate to you. Next, you will need to select three or four clear, well lit photographs of your chosen subject, that are in sharp focus. No flash photography please. Most often, best results are achieved through professional photography or photographs taken outside. Mail these with your one-third deposit to the artist to begin your portrait project.

In approximately three to four weeks from approval of your estimate, a digital file of your completed portrait will be e-mailed to you for final approval. Once your approval with your final payment is received, your portrait will be shipped to you.

Shipping
Portraits ship in approximately three to four weeks from the time your order is placed based on timely client approvals. Your portrait will be professionally packaged, shipped and insured through a reputable commercial carrier. Your finished fine art piece will arrive on stretched, gallery wrap canvas. This means that your painted portrait continues around the edges of your art piece, making framing optional. Complete satisfaction is the most important aspect of customer service with a portrait commission from Johanna Uribes.
